Like everyone else, I've been watching the political kabuki dance unfold over the past year with a mixed sense of dread and horror.
There was a general sense of agreement that whatever is going on with the economy, it appears to be deliberate. Where there are two possible course of action, the administration's choice always seems to be the one most obviously wrong.
Joe Biden's "gird your loins" speech from the campaign trail about how Obama is going to be tested, and how it is going to look like he's got it exactly backwards keeps playing in my head. . .
"Mark my words," said Candidate Joe Biden last October in Seattle. “Watch. We're going to have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.
"And he's going to need help . . . to stand with him. Because it's not going to be apparent initially; it's not going to be apparent that we're right. So gird your loins."
Everyone dismissed it at the time as one of Joe Biden's gaffes - and therefore, not worthy of further comment.
But I always suspected that it was more a case of Biden inadvertently blending facts he heard during a long-range strategic planning session into a stump speech.
On July 16th, in a speech delivered to AARP members at a town hall meeting, Biden accidentally leaked another planned event when he announced;
"The status quo is unsustainable. . . We're going to go bankrupt as a nation," he told his stunned audience. But was that a gaffe? Given the administration's economic policies, I'm not so sure that isn't part of a larger plan.
The dollar continues to collapse and the Fed is monetizing the debt, which historically is the first step on the slide toward economic hyperinflation. The simple fact is that the US dollar has been hopelessly compromised. It has been over-collateralized to the point there is nothing left to borrow against.
Whatever happened to the Security and Prosperity Partnership with Canada and Mexico and the introduction of a replacement currency like the 'amero'?
Republican Congressman Virgil Goode introduced a Congressional resolution blocking the creation of a North American Union in early 2007. Similar resolutions have been introduced in several state legislatures - in Montana's case, the resolution passed nearly unanimously.
In July 2007, the US House of Representatives easily approved a measure that would cut off federal funds for an existing trade group set up by the three countries. Similar overexposure in Mexico and Canada made moving forward too politically risky for all concerned, so the idea was quietly shelved.
The fact is, the idea of a North American Union (NAU) was under discussion because Joe Biden is right. The status quo IS unsustainable, and since the public won't come along willingly, then, to quote the old gangster movies, they're going to have to 'muss us up' a bit.
Ok, so who are 'they'? There IS a 'money trust' - a cabal, if you will, of the world's top bankers. They are the ones who control and manipulate the international money supply. This trust DOES exist. See "Is There Really a Money Trust?"
Like the members of the Council on Foreign Relations, the Bilderberger Group, the various UN foundations and NGOs, and dozens of non-governmental 'think tanks', the members of the Money Trust are not evil men planning nefarious deeds, but elitists who are willing to make the hard choices for the good of mankind.
Caiaphas did not think himself evil when he suggested it would be expedient for one man to die (Jesus) to spare the whole people from Roman retribution. Indeed, Caiaphas proved himself a capable politician capable of making the hard choices when called upon.
In today's world, he'd have probably been awarded a Nobel Peace Prize.
According to Bible prophecy, there will exist four spheres of global power in the last days. The 'global' government of antichrist is 'global' in the sense of what is today called "the West."
It isn't truly global, since the other three spheres of power - Gog-Magog, the Kings of the South and the Kings of the East are all independent entities.
Indeed, each of these, at one time or another during the Tribulation, come into military confrontation with the antichrist.
But it is the antichrist's governmental policies that determine what the rest of the world will do, in much the same manner that the US does now. When the US housing market collapsed, it reverberated around the world, hurting friend and foe alike.
To illustrate how that works, the two nations worst hurt when our market tanked were simultaneously our closest ally, (Japan) and our most dangerous adversary, (China).
Revelation 13:17-18 says that during the Tribulation, the antichrist will have centralized control of the world's (read: the West, and therefore, indirectly the rest of the world) economy, religious system and government.
The operative word here is 'centralized.' We've already seen a live demonstration of centralization and how it works, as applied to the media industry.
A generation ago, there were more than 1300 independently owned and operated newspapers. That's 1300 independent editorial boards.
Today's media is concentrated in the hands of just five super media conglomerates, Viacom, NewsCorp, AOL/Time/Warner, Disney and GE.
They control everything you see and hear on TV, at the movies, read in the newspaper or hear on the radio. Viacom is French-owned.
Viacom owns CBS, UPN, MTV, Nickelodeon, Showtime, Sundance Channel, VH-1, King World Productions, Infinity Broadcasting and Comedy Central.
It also owns Blockbuster Video, the world's largest video rental chain, and Blockbuster Music; book publishing, including Simon & Schuster, Scribners and Macmillan; film, video and television production, including Paramount Pictures and a 50 percent interest in United Cinemas International.
What's left? Doesn't seem like there's anything they don't own. But whatever it might be, you can bet it belongs to one of the other four. That's how millions of Americans can participate in thousands of national 'tea parties' while the majority of the country stays in the dark about it.
It appears that the elites of the banking industry and their allies like the CFR and Trilats (and so on) have decided to force the issue. If America won't voluntarily subject itself to supranational control, then its time to make one of those hard decisions.
In this case, tip over the economy. Once its tipped, do everything possible to ensure it stays tipped. Triple the deficit. Borrow until there are no more lenders, then start inventing money - and then burn it on useless programs that make things worse, like 'Cash for Clunkers' or a trillion dollar 'stimulus' that remains under lock and key - 'spent' as it were, but not distributed.
Like locking next month's rent money into a two year CD and then paying your rent with a rubber check and a 'payday' loan from the local loan shark.
I know it sounds nuts. But Gerald Celente sounds even crazier. Unfortunately, he's not. Celente is the head of the Trends Research Institute, which analyzes current trends to forecast future ones.
Celente's record for accuracy is nothing short of astonishing.
So, according to secular futurist Celente, America is already well into a second American revolution. Celente says the first shot heard by almost nobody was the one fired on April 15th with the first of the tax tea parties ignored by the media.
The second shot fired, according to Celente, was when the Tax Day protestors, furious at being ignored, staged a second national Tea Party on the 4th of July. As in April, they were ignored by the media and dismissed by the administration as 'conservative fringe elements.'
Celente calls the town hall protests over Obamacare, not a third shot, but rather, a volley of fire aimed at the Congress. Again, he notes, White House and the media have labeled protestors "conservative fringe elements," or as players in staged events organized by Republican operatives that have been egged on by Fox news and right-wing radio show hosts.
Celente says they ignore this at the nation's peril.
Celente also forecasts further deterioration, saying the global economy is terminally ill, until the 'fourth shot' is fired. Interestingly, Celente's Trends Research Institute projection is that the fourth shot will literally be 'a shot.'
He says the government will attempt to impose mandatory flu shots and that will be the straw that breaks the camel's back. Celente's strategic forecast moving forward from there is so ominous that I'm simply going to paste it in verbatim and let it speak for itself.
Trend Forecast: Before the momentum of the "Second American Revolution" becomes unstoppable, it could be derailed through some false flag event designed to deceive the public, or a genuine event or crisis capable of rallying the entire nation behind the President. That's the way it looks to a secular futurist based on his analysis of current events, historical trends and other social/secular signs of the times.
In a worst-case scenario, according to Trends Research Institute Director, Gerald Celente, "Given the pattern of governments to parlay egregious failures into mega-failures, the classic trend they follow, when all else fails, is to take their nation to war."
A false flag attempt, a genuine crisis, or a declaration of war, may slow the momentum of the "Second American Revolution," but nothing will stop it.
Where is America in Bible prophecy? How is it that the Bible can accurately forecast the emergence of the four spheres of world power in the last days, precisely as they have emerged IN THIS GENERATION, and failed to mention the greatest global super-power the world has ever known?
There are but two possible answers. The first, and most hopeful, is that the Rapture of the Church will so decimate and demoralize the nation that it will cease to play any meaningful role on the international stage during the Tribulation Period.
The second answer is too much like the Trends Research Institute's forecast.
