Congress Will Attempt to Usurp Constitution with Health Care Reform

The old saying attributed to Mark Twain that "No man's life, liberty or property is safe when Congress is in session" could not ring truer today. The basic context of the quote means that your Constitutional rights as an American citizen are in jeopardy when Congress is in session. It shouldn't be this way, but it is. And it is this way more today than it was a hundred years ago. One has to look no further than the current healthcare reform debate to see that Congress will soon act against the will of the people to put limits on people's lives, curtail their freedom, and redistribute their property - all in the name of "healthcare reform."

Indeed, the American people valiantly stood against this socialist coup de tat at town hall meetings across the nation during the Congressional recess. But amid the heated exchanges, elected representatives shirked their Constitutional duties and didn't even listen. Most were arrogant, all knowing, and believed that they were elected to do what they want to do, not what the people want them to do, because they know best. They are part of a revolutionary war being perpetrated on the American people at the hands of usurpers who deceived the nation into believing in democratic change, when in reality it was an all out offensive to institute socialism.

You see, the so-called healthcare reform is not about healthcare at all. If the stated goal was to make sure that the estimated 45 million people who do not have health insurance would receive health insurance, the solution to the problem is easy. The government could unconstitutionally vote to buy these 45 million people a $300 a month health insurance policy - which is a pretty good policy. That would only cost about $160 billion a year. And if you take out illegal aliens, it would be about a third of that. This is a far cry from trillions of dollars. But that approach would not require the entire United States to become socialist - which is the main goal, the only goal.

Socialism is a form of humanism. And humanism is the antithesis of God. The United States Congress, in conspiracy with the White House, intends to usurp the Constitution and institute socialism as your government. Healthcare reform is the Trojan horse to take away your rights to Life, Liberty and pursuit of happiness. It will ultimately lead to the destruction of your freedom and your way of life. And it will take away your Constitutional rights.

The Lord said in Ezekiel 22:30,

"And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none."

Shall you stand in the gap that this judgment not befall us?
