There are warning signs throughout Washington, D.C. that the Barack Hussein Obama presidency will begin with a firm hand and an eye toward implementing socialist/Marxist policies. Coming out on Meet the Press was the woman Obama told the Chicago Tribune in July that he "trusts her completely." That would be Valerie Jarrett, considered one of the most powerful women in Chicago. The Iranian-born African American has run in the same Hyde Park circles as domestic terrorist Bill Ayers, but has remained an unscathed broker of power with close ties to Chicago mayors Harold Washington and Richard Daley and to the leftist Woods Fund of Chicago (according to various sources).
Jarrett is not only one of Obama's closest advisors, but also the co-chair of the Obama transition team. On November 9th's Meet the Press, host Tom Brokaw asked how the Obama team would proceed. He asked, "What's the working model? Are you going to be a shadow government or a very interested spectator off to the side?" Jarrett responded, "We respect that he (Bush) will be the President until January 20. However, given the really daunting challenges we face, it is important that President-elect Obama is prepared to really take power and begin to rule day one." She went on to explain that the Obama team will actively deal with agencies, make personnel decisions, and receive national security briefings until then.
In America, one would never suggest that Presidents "rule" as do kings or dictators or socialist/communist so-called presidents. Yet the most trusted advisor in the Obama campaign said that it was important for him to "really take power and begin to rule day one." The Obama camp has also signaled that the new president will use executive orders to undo eight years of Bush Administration policies. The other co-chair of the Obama transition team, John Podesta, told CNN that Obama would use executive orders to undo Bush decisions preventing certain types of embryonic stem cell research, opening up oil drilling on federal land, and the prohibition of US tax money being used for United Nations sponsored abortions.
In July, Obama told a Colorado crowd, "We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded" as the US military. Georgia Republican Congressman Paul Broun warns, "That's exactly what Hitler did in Nazi Germany and it's exactly what the Soviet Union did. . . we may have a problem with that type of philosophy of radical socialism or Marxism." Certainly, America is in store for the change that Obama promised. But will that change be a prophetic national implementation of Romans 1:28: "And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind to do those things which are not convenient." Time will tell.
